An old bottle of Rosebank 31-year-old Release 2 Lowland single malt whisky, the second distillery bottling from owners Ian Macleod Distillers, who bought the distillery in a remarkable coup in 2017.
This Rosebank 31-year-old was released in 2022 as the sequel to 2020’s Rosebank 30-year-old Release 1, and was a small batch of 4000 bottles released unchillfiltered at its natural strength of 48.1%. Another fabulous long-aged Rosebank distilled in the early 1990s shortly before the distillery was mothballed, this 31-year-old Rosebank is an elegant sophisticated dram that still packs plenty of power.

Nose: Citrus burst, lime, lemongrass and coriander seed, clove with soft vanilla and sugar coated almonds.
Palate: Fantastic age while still light and vibrant, mint, camomile with leather, berry and banana bread.
Finish: Sweetens with hints of peach, oak and long herbal notes.
