The Balvenie Classic was a short lived but rather legendary NAS edition form the 1980s that preceded the first Founder’s Reserve. A beautifully elegant and quite waxy old style dram befitting of its striking, Armagnac-esque presentation. Quite a rare bottling nowadays but a great whisky
