The latest release from Balvenie, Tun 1401 Batch 5, married from nine casks, with four being from sherry butts from warehouse 24. After several months of marrying in the famous Tun 1401,resulting in a exceptionally complex whisky.
4 sherry butts distilled in 1970, 1971, 1972, 1975 and 5 American oak casks from 1966, 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1991.
