One of the latest batches of Glenfarclas’s brilliant ongoing Family Cask series. This is a 1978 plain hogshead bottled at a natural cask strength of 41.3% in 2014 with an outturn of just 289 bottles. Another surprisingly low strength considering the outturn of bottles. Being from refill wood this should have bags of distillery character about it.
