Adelphi can always be relied upon to root out seriously interesting, off-the-wall casks for our delectation, and here’s another one – a cask strength Dutch single malt whisky from the highly respected Zuidam distillery.
This Zuidam 1999 has been bottled as a 19-year-old from Cask 2547 – a first fill Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead, no less. There were 165 bottles yielded from the hoggie and we’re pretty certain they’ll get snapped up fast.
