A single cask Lochlea 2018 7-year-old Lowland single malt whisky released at cask strength by independent bottlers Adelphi Distillers in 2026 as part of their Adelphi Selection series.
This 7-year-old Lochlea 2018 was bottled by Adelphi without colouring or chill filtration from single cask 113, a first fill bourbon barrel that yielded 222 bottles at a pretty poky natural cask strength of 57.9%. Lochlea is one of the most promising of the new wave of Lowland whisky distilleries and indie bottlings are still very rare; 2018 was the distillery’s first year of production, so this is one of the oldest Lochlea whiskies released to date.
