A small batch Kilkerran 8-year-old Cask Strength Sherry Cask Matured Campbeltown single malt whisky from Springbank owner Mitchell’s Glengyle distillery. This edition was bottled by the distillery without colouring or chill filtration in 2022 at its whopping natural cask strength of 58.1%.
Kilkerran 8-year-old was first bottled in 2020 and is a flexible bottling by Glengyle, appearing in several different guises from batch to batch. This sherry cask matured release was one of three batches of cask strength Kilkerran 8-year-old that were released in 2022, with the other two batches having been matured in port pipes and bourbon hogshead casks respectively.
