A single cask Glendronach 1995 18-year-old Highland single malt whisky bottled in 2014 as part of Batch 10 of the distillery’s single cask series. This 1995 Glendronach single cask 3025 was bottled without colouring or chill filtration at full cask strength.
This 18-year-old Glendronach 1995 was one of 650 bottles yielded from single cask 3025, which was a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon cask with a natural cask strength of 51.1%. A full dose of super-classic 1990s Glendronach character, featuring earthy, slightly drying sherry packed full of dark fruits, balsamico, leafy notes, old pipe tobacco and even touches of rancio.
These Glendronach single casks were the best value official releases on the market at the time of release and although prices have crept up in the intervening decade or so they’re still tremendous drams for the money.
