An old bottle of the splendid Bunnahabhain 12-year-old Islay single malt whisky bottled in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
This lovely old 1980s/’90s 12-year-old Bunnahabhain will contain whisky distilled towards the end of the 1970s – a great era for the distillery’s spirit, much of which was sherry-matured. These older Bunnas were bottled at 40% and were unquestionably the gentlest Islay whiskies of their day. A delightfully elegant, contemplative dram.
