A 1974 Glenfarclas single cask bottled at the end of 2014 for the Spring 2015 outturn of the amazing Family Cask series.
This 40-year-old Glenfarclas 1974 came from a single refill hogshead Cask 4077 that produced just 107 bottles at a natural cask strength of 43.9% – these naturally low strength casks are usually blessed with a stunning flavour intensity, and with a refill cask we’d expect lashings of classic Glenfarclas distillery character – this should be a really beautiful dram.
