A 1995 Aberfeldy bottled in 2014 by Gordon & MacPhail for their CASK range. This one was matured in refill sherry hogsheads and bottled at 55.8%.
A great chance to try this oddly elusive highland malt at a good mid-age and without overintense wood obscuring the distillery’s often beautiful character. A great value dram with bags of big, juicy flavours.
Please note there’s a dint in the tin.
