How exciting, an old Allt-A-Bhainne! Even though it’s a pretty big distillery you don’t see too many of them about, as much of their output goes into 100 Pipers and other blends.
Golden Cask have picked up an Allt-A-Bhainne 1995 single bourbon cask and bottled it in 2020 as a 24-year-old. Cask CM264 yielded 202 bottles at an impressive 57.9%, and if you’re in the mood for a great value ex-bourbon Speyside single malt whisky from a distillery that not many people have even heard of, let alone care about, then this is going to be right up your street.
