This modern classic is a bit of a hotchpotch of different oak influences but it really seems to work and has many fans. Rich chocolate, mocha, espresso, jam, spice and little flecks of treacle. Cigar friendly too.

The Three Wood has done well for itself since it was launched. The lightness of Auchentoshan seems to absorb the richness of the oak very well and the result is chewy and mouthcoating but not chalky or cloying. A difficult balancing act to pull of but they did a great job.
