A 20-year-old Bas Armagnac from indie producer Baron de Sigognac, who do everything from growing their own grapes to distilling their spirit on a short column still that will soon be reaching its 100th birthday.
Baron de Sigognac age their Bas Armagnacs separately by vintage until the moment has come for them to be blended and bottled, so 20 years old is the minimum age of the armagnac in the bottle but there will be older vintages in the blend.
These old blended armagnacs are extraordinary value, and in their smart wooden boxes they make fantastic gifts.
