A 29-year-old single cask distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2016 as part of Benriachs batch 13 release. It’s a peated Oloroso sherry finish expression and there were only 568 bottles produced.
The nose is sumptuous with ripe plums and dried figs, surrounded by a sweet barbeque smoke character.
The palate is rich with sticky dates and dark orange marmalade combined with sweet peat notes and lingering cigar box characters, all infused with fresh coffee grounds and cocoa beans.
