Benriach is one of those special Speyside distilleries whose distillate works in both sherry and bourbon casks, and which often matures early but can withstand many decades of ageing.
This Benriach 2012 has been bottled by Cooper’s Choice in 2021 as an 8-year-old, aged in American oak before spending the final part of its maturation in a Marsala cask, adding extra sweet fruity flavours to the profile.
Just 198 bottles were yielded from Cask #800216.
