A bottle of the famous Blair Athol 18-year-old special edition released for the distillery’s Bicentenary in 1998. Remarkably, this was the oldest official bottling of Blair Athol at the time, as the distillery is so important for the Bell’s blend that very little is bottled at single malt. 

This 18-year-old Blair Athol Bicentennial Edition was a small batch of just 1200 bottles matured in sherry casks and bottled at its poky natural cask strength of 56.7%. Blair Athol’s gutsy spirit is fantastic in sherry casks and this rare cask strength bottling is one of the best we’ve tried.
