Batch 5 of Bowmore’s fantastic Tempest series eases up a bit on the overt lushness of Batch 4 and brings in some more of the chiseled, mineral seashore notes of Batch 3; ending up as a beautiful and very satisfying amalgamation of the two. Yet again another brilliant release that shows the best of the modern Bowmore character with the perfect balance of complexity, maturity and fun. An absolute must for anyone serious about Islay Malts.
