A very interesting innovation from Cooper’s Choice here, taking a heavily-peated Bunnahabhain Islay single malt that had spent its initial maturation in bourbon wood and finishing it in a cask that previously held Calvados French apple brandy.
The result is a heavily-peated islay malt whisky with the addition of some fresh green apple fruity flavours. This Bunnahabhain is a single cask edition, with 252 bottles produced at a strength of 56%.
