A 2014 Campbeltown 9-year-old blended malt whisky bottled in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration by North Star Spirits, this is very likely a teaspooned cask from either Springbank or Glen Scotia.
This 9-year-old Campbeltown blended malt whisky finished up in an Oloroso sherry octave cask that yielded just 67 bottles at its natural cask strength of 53.4%. North Star have bottled a few of these 2014 Campbeltowns with different finishes and they’ve all been terrific drams – this one might be the best yet.

Nose: Toffee, salted caramel, sweet oak.
Palate: Salty and sooty with a whiff of coast.
Finish: Again, slightly briny with a sooty aftertaste.
