A limited edition Caol Ila 12-year-old released by the distillery as their special bottling for visitors to the annual Islay Festival of whisky and music in 2021.
Selected by the distillery’s manager Sam Hale, this Feis Ile 12-year-old Caol Ila was bottled in 2021 without chill filtration after finishing in American oak casks that had been seasoned with the sherry-esque Moscatel, and was a limited edition of just 3696 bottles released at its natural cask strength of 57%.
