The first of St. Lucia Distillers rums to appear on this side of the pond, Chairman’s Reserve Original is a top class blend of pot and column still rums aged around 5-6 years. Chairman’s Reserve Original was created in 1999 by SLD’s former chairman and rum maker Laurie Barnard.
An easy-drinking, unsweetened golden rum with a nice balance of cooked fruit and oak spice flavours, Chairman’s Reserve is great value for money and well worth a punt as an intro to St. Lucian rum.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Rich dark amber.
Nose: Typical pot still richness comes through the aromas carried by whiffs of cooked banana, caramelized fruits, and spicy oak-derived vanilla.
A well-balanced mid-palate provides structure around flavors of chocolate, golden raisin, tobacco, and clove.
Finish: Long creamy.
