A 1991 vintage Bas Armagnac from Delord, an independent house with a great reputation. Delord is a family-owned company and, unusually, exercises total control over every aspect of their production, growing their own grapes and distilling their own field to bottle armagnacs.
This Delord 1991 vintage Bas Armagnac was distilled from a mix of Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Baco grapes. At Delord each grape variety is vinified separately before being distilled to around 54-58%, producing intense flavours and a bold spirit with a fuller, more robust character than comparable Cognacs.
