An old litre bottle of the venerable Dimple 15-year-old blended Scotch whisky from the early years of this century. Haig’s Dimple is one of Scotland’s oldest traditional blended whiskies and was at one time among the UK’s best-selling brands.
Always known for its quality and high proportion of single malt whisky in the recipe, the long-aged 15-year-old Dimple whisky was an early example of a super-premium blend before the category was really invented. By the time this bottling appeared Dimple no longer had a significant presence in the UK, but it has remained hugely popular in export and travel retail markets.
