A long-aged 14-year-old Barbados rum from Doorly’s, one of the top brands from Richard Seale’s Foursquare distillery. Doorly’s 14-year-old is made with pot and column still rum aged in ex-bourbon casks, with a portion of the blend finished in Madeira wood.
Foursquare is arguably the most progressive distillery in the Caribbean, and Richard Seale remains one of the industry’s most innovative iconoclasts. In practice that means that this Doorly’s will indeed be 14 years old (not always a guarantee with certain other producers, sadly) and has been distilled and bottled without any added sugar, sweetener or chill filtration.
