Vallein-Tercinier are one of the Cognac region’s greatest producers, and this Lot 65 – denoting the 1965 vintage – is a particularly legendary vintage. This extraordinarily dense, fruity, complex cognac received a remarkable 94 points from Serge Valentin at whiskyfun.com in March 2024, with the remark “I do not think I’ve ever tasted a cognac I preferred.”
