Fireball originated back in the mid-1980s, and for a long time was little known outside of Canada before becoming a late night hit with UK revellers in the 1990s. It’s not just for students and young adults, though – remarkably, Fireball’s irresistible crossover appeal led to it scooping a couple of awards in spirit competitions, scoring 87 points from the Beverage Tasting Institute and a Silver Medal from the International Review of Spirits.
