The 2022 release of Glenallachie’s 18-year-old follows the same formula as last year, with master distiller Billy Walker handpicking the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, complemented by a touch of virgin oak.
Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring, this whisky offers a rich and intricate profile featuring natural caramel sweetness, traditional dried fruit, chocolate notes, subtle nuttiness, and a spicy finish.

Colour: Intense Chestnut.
Nose: Layers of heather honey, toffee and muscovado sugar, with dark chocolate, caramel and dried sultanas.
Palate: Bursting with fruit cake, butterscotch and wild Scottish honey, followed by layers of blackcurrant, almonds and soft oak spice on the finish.
