A single cask Glenallachie 2011 10-year-old Speyside single malt whisky released in 2021 by independent bottlers Duncan Taylor for their Octave Cask range.
Subtitled ‘UK Exclusive (No4)’, this is a cask strength Glenallachie 2011 bottled by Duncan Taylor as a 10-year-old after spending the last nine months of its maturation in one of DT’s special octave sherry casks.
Just 80 bottles of this 10-year-old Glenallachie 2011 were yielded from the Octave, at a natural cask strength of 55.2%. Glenallachie whisky is in high demand at the moment, particularly sherried examples and we’ve only got a few of these, so it’s fastest fingers first.
