Description
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 49.1%
Batch 4 of Glenallachie’s 30-year-old Speyside single malt whisky, which has been a highly sought-after annual limited edition since the first batch appeared in 2021.
Glenallachie 30-year-old Batch 4 was bottled without colouring or chill filtration at its natural cask strength of 49.1%. For the 2024 release, head honcho Billy Walker selected just five casks, all of which were sherry puncheon or hogshead casks that had previously held Oloroso or Pedro Ximenez sherry, and the resulting dram is a triumphant melange of dark fruit, honey, treacle and patisserie spices.
