This 1996 also comes from a PX Sherry Puncheon like most of the Batch 10 releases. Sumptuous, earthy sherry with lots of toffee, fruit jams, strawberries, treacle, balsamico and even light gamey notes. Marvellous whisky and terrific value given the quality of these casks. Up there with old Macallan.
