A single cask Glendronach 1995 20-year-old Highland single malt whisky bottled in 2016 as part of Batch 13 of the distillery’s single cask series. This 1995 Glendronach single cask 3047 was bottled without colouring or chill filtration at full cask strength.
This 20-year-old Glendronach 1995 was one of 636 bottles from Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon cask 3047 released at a very drinkable 48.6% natural cask strength. Another sticky sweet one full of fresh berry fruit flavours married with a gentle earthy richness and little side notes of tobacco, rancio and candied fruit peel. Naturally lower cask strength casks like these are almost invariably absolutely packed with flavour.
