This Provenance 8-year-old Glenglassaugh 2015 came from Cask 18680, a single refill hogshead that turned out 351 bottles at the Provenance standard bottling strength of 46%. Glenglassaugh was out of production for a long time, so it’s still a thrill for whisky fans of a certain age to see new bottlings of young whisky from this top class Highland distillery. This will be excellent.
