Bottled without colouring or chill filtration, this 42-year-old Glenlivet (Minmore) 1973 came from a small batch of bourbon hogshead casks that yielded a total of 630 bottles at a just-in-the-nick-of-time natural cask strength of 40.2%. A glorious old school Glenlivet, showing remarkable exotic and tropical fruits and freshly laundered linen on an elegant palate that delivers plenty of punch despite its age.
