A single cask Glenrothes 1968 26-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 1994 or 1995 by mail order independent bottlers Direct Wines for their First Cask series.
This 28-year-old Glenrothes 1968 came from single cask 9868, a sherry cask bottled without colouring or chill filtration at 46%. This was one of a pair of superb sister casks of Glenrothes 1968 bottled by First Cask in the mid-90s and Signatory Vintage released several more bottlings from this amazing batch of sherry casks between 1995-2001.
