There’s no info available on cask type for this Glenrothes 2009, but with 386 bottles yielded at its cask strength of 54.6% and judging by the lightish colour it’s most likely a second or third refill sherry cask, so this is a welcome opportunity to try a more ‘natural’ Glenrothes 12-year-old without the more common strong sherry influence.
