A lovely old bottle of Hennessy’s old Bras Armé 3-Star Cognac (equivalent to VS quality), this would have been released most likely at some point in the 1960s.
These old bottles of Hennessy Bras Armé are usually delightful stuff – even the 3-Star cognacs from back in those days tend to be richer and oilier than their modern-day equivalents, and of course Hennessy’s house style is on the big side anyway. Expect fresh and cooked apples, hints of apricot and marmalade, leather and golden syrup.
