A wonderful old 1980s Highland Park 12-year-old in the famous slope-shouldered dumpy screen-printed bottle. This would have been distilled most likely in the early to mid 1970s and is an evocative and utterly delicious whisky from what was a golden period for the distillery.

Old school Highland Park is oily, smoky and lush with big flavours of green and dark fruits in equal measure. These old dumpy Highland Park 12-year-olds from the 1980s and ’90s are characterised by a more earthy, oily and bubbling peat quality with notes of dark fruits, thick sherry and a heathery, mineral smokiness. Wild and rugged whisky that really lives up to its Island origin.
