Description
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Direct Wines Ltd 70cl / 46%
A single cask 1980 Inchgower 24-year-old bottled by Direct Wines in the mid-Noughties for their First Cask range.
Inchgower is a great spirit that ages very well in either bourbon or sherry casks – we’re guessing this is one of the latter – and can become really complex once it gets past the twenty year mark. These First Cask bottlings were released without colouring or chill filtration at a great drinking strength of 46%, so this should be a beauty.
