A 1998 Ledaig bottled in 2014 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseur’s Choice range.
Bottled at a perfect drinking strength of 46%, this is a great alternative to an Islay malt. Big coastal freshness that speaks of its Island location married to thick, oily, farmyard peat and medical notes. A real mix of various peat characteristics wrapped up in a fulsome and totally satisfying dram.
