The Macallans bottled by Campbell Hope & King of Elgin are deservedly legendary. Their quality often even eclipses those by G&M. This 10yo from the late sixties should be an absolute stunner. Macallan from the era that made its name as legendary as it is today.

These old Macallans by CH&K were uniformly incredible drams. Often sooty, oily, waxy and immensely fruity with bags of rancio, soft phenols, menthol and dried/crystalised fruits. Taste this next to a modern 10yo a weep. It is a completely different style of whisky altogether, you’d struggle to find current 30yo whiskies that could match this.
