This Old & Rare Platinum 21-year-old Macallan 1988 was an edition of just 300 bottles released at its natural cask strength of 55.8%, and the official tasting notes are full of references to orange liqueur, dark chocolate and sticky toffee pudding, so it’s relatively safe to assume that this was from a sherry cask.
