A UK Exclusive Miltonduff 2011 bottled as a 12-year-old in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration by Duncan Taylor for their Octave Cask series.
Octave casks are made by breaking down a large 500L sherry butt and re-coopering it into eight much smaller casks, which interact considerably more rapidly with maturing spirit thanks to their increased surface area to volume ratio. This 12-year-old Miltonduff 2011 has picked up a lovely deep golden hue after four months in Octave 8338794 and is bottled at its natural strength of 52.7%. This should be a delight.
