This 15-year-old Miltonduff 2008 came from a single first fill sherry puncheon cask 900365, which turned out a generous 528 bottles at its remarkable natural cask strength of 63.4%. Miltonduff is a little-seen Speyside distillery, mostly preoccupied with supplying high quality spirit for owner Pernod’s blended Scotches, particularly Ballantine’s. Miltonduff’s official bottlings are few and very far between, so the indies are the best bet for full strength gems like this.
