Neidahl Peated Indian single malt whisky is the first of a range of independent bottlings from Amrut entitled Single Malts of India – for this is an Indian single malt whisky not distilled by Amrut themselves.

The whisky for Neidhal is a peated spirit that was distilled by an unnamed coastal Indian distillery – Neidhal is the Tamil word for a coastal region or a place close to the seaside – with the spirit being aged, blended and bottled by Amrut after a complex maturation regime at their Bangalore distillery warehouses.

Neidhal Peated Indian single malt whisky has been released by Amrut at 50% in a 75cl bottle and is a rich, unctuous dram with dry, smoky, dark chocolate aromas and flavours balanced by fruity notes and vanilla sweetness.
