A single cask of ‘Probably Speyside’s Finest’ from the 1992 vintage, bottled as a 21-year-old without colouring or chill filtration in 2014 by Hunter Laing for their Old Malt Cask range. It’s an open secret that these ‘Probably’ bottlings were all from Glenfarclas.
This 1992 Glenfarclas 21-year-old came from Cask 10376, a wine-finished refill hogshead that yielded 152 bottles at the Old Malt Cask preferred strength of 50%. A sweet, malty, citrussy dram with a rich, peppery finish.
