A single cask Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2013 10-year-old Islay single malt whisky bottled in 2024 for the UK market without colouring or chill filtration by Alistair Walker Whisky Co. as part of the Summer 2024 outturn of their Infrequent Flyers range.
Staoisha is the name given to one of the peated spirits made at Bunnahabhain, in case you haven’t seen one before. This 10-year-old Bunnahabhain Staoisha was bottled from Cask 901, a single first fill bourbon barrel that turned out 190 bottles at its poky natural cask strength of 56.6%. Bunnahabhain’s peated whiskies are almost as popular as the distillery’s classic unpeated style, and now make up almost half of the distillery’s annual output.
