From the Starward distillery in Melbourne comes this fascinating 5-year-old single malt, a Starward 2011 aged in a cask that previously held Apera, the Australian term for a sherry-style fortified wine, imparting gorgeous sticky sweet dried fruit flavours to the spirit.
