A darkly inviting 1969 Strathisla from G&M’s stable of ancient single malts. This one is very much in keeping with it’s sibling releases in this series, truck loads of dark fruits, silky chocolate notes, figs, balsamico, treacle and a wonderfully appetising earthiness running throughout. Masterly whisky and exceptionally good value.
