An early Classic Malts edition of Talisker 10-year-old Island single malt whisky bottled at some point in the 1990s at the distillery’s preferred strength of 45.8% (approximately equivalent to the old 80 Imperial proof.)

These 1990s and earlier Talisker 10-year-olds were filled with early to mid-1980s distillate and were considerably bolder, gutsier and more assertive than equivalent bottlings today, with the distillery’s raw-edged coastal peppery phenolicity taking a front seat. These are phenomenal drams.
